Mosquito Mary’s: Achieving Off-the-Charts Growth Rates
While the summer months bring long days full of sunlight and warmth, mosquitoes and other bugs are often part of the package. This is a reality that Mosquito Mary’s Founder and CEO Nick Spencer knows well.
After years of using low-quality, ineffective mosquito products to keep the bugs at bay in his own yard, Spencer knew there had to be a better solution. In 2018, he decided to put his extensive marketing and business management background to work to revolutionize the pest-control industry.
Mosquito Mary’s concentrated blend of essential oils and plant extracts is designed to kill bugs on contact and repel future insects, allowing customers to finally enjoy the outdoors again. The company prides itself on creating products that are safe for families, pets, and the environment.
One year after founding the company, Spencer saw such a demand for his unique products and services that he decided to begin franchising. Since then, the company has earned several awards and recognitions, including being named one of the fastest-growing franchises of 2021 by Franchise Gator.
“The real success and growth have been made by the wonderful people who have joined our family over the last year,” said Spencer. “Their input and experiences have refined our systems and allowed for different perspectives, so much so that our flagship territory has seen a near 700% growth rate over the last year.”
For new franchisees joining the quickly growing team, Mosquito Mary’s offers in-house financing as well as free utilization of the customer-service call center and routing for the first year of operation.
Additionally, the company offers Mary’s University, a state-of-the-art online learning center that includes a personal business coach ready to assist franchisees with any questions. Their goal is to take the startup stress away from new franchisees, so they can focus on building their business.
